Job summary

Twist Bioscience is hiring a Manufacturing Associate – Specialty Production in Wilsonville, OR. You will produce DNA, plasmid and oligo pool products in a highly automated lab, performing complex reagent handling and molecular biology workflows according to SOPs.

You’ll manage batch records, coordinate instrument time, and ensure quality control and release to meet production forecasts. Strong attention to detail and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• Associates or Bachelors degree in Biology, chemistry or related field is desirable.
• Familiarity or prior experience in a manufacturing and/or a laboratory environment is highly desirable.
• Good written and verbal skills are critical.
• Good computer skills (Excel, Word, Atlassian etc) and the ability to quickly learn new software applications.
• Ability to pay great attention to details.

Responsibilities

• Produce a range of custom DNA, plasmid and oligo pool products following SOPs.
• Perform complex reagent handling and molecular biology workflows in a high-throughput automated lab.
• Manage batch records, ticket documentation, and coordinate instrument time.
• Ensure quality control and release of products to meet production forecasts.
