Job summary

Twist Bioscience in Wilsonville, OR is seeking a Manufacturing Associate – Specialty Production to join the Operations team. This role focuses on producing custom DNA-based products in a high-throughput, highly automated lab, following SOPs and maintaining strict safety and cleanroom practices.

You will plan batches, coordinate instrument time, and ensure accurate batch records while contributing to timely production forecasts and on-shift issue triage in a dynamic, team-driven environment.

Qualifications

Job description

We are looking for a motivated, enthusiastic individual to join our Twist Bioscience Operations team in Wilsonville, OR.

The Manufacturing Associate – Specialty Production will produce a range of custom DNA, plasmid and oligo pool products — multiplexed gene fragments and gene pools, high mass oligo pools, gene fragments and clonal genes modifications, and custom-formatted customer orders — focusing on molecular and cellular biology, as well as running analytic techniques in the high-throughput/highly-automated lab according to established SOPs, along with working with sensitive equipment and following good manufacturing practices. Must also be a team player, neat and highly organized, able to work in a cleanroom environment and foster safe work practices. The Manufacturing Associate – Specialty Production will perform complex reagent handling, chemistry and molecular biology workflows in a highly automated, high-throughput manner and will be responsible for the manufacture, quality control and release of a variety of custom DNA-based intermediates and products across Twist Bioscience's proprietary process workflow to meet the Twist production forecast and timelines. At the Associate II level this extends to planning batches against the production forecast, coordinating instrument time, owning batch record and ticket documentation, and triaging process issues on shift.

Open Shift-

2B - 7:00pm-7:30am Wednesday-Friday, Alternating Saturday

• Associates or Bachelors degree in Biology, chemistry or related field is desirable.

Working Conditions

• Must be able to work outside of regular work hours/ work a flexible shift as needed
