Gateway Dental Group and Orthodontics in Carlsbad, CA is seeking a Specialty Dental Assistant to support clinicians across Endodontics, Oral Surgery, Orthodontics, Periodontics or Pediatric dentistry, while providing outstanding patient care in a fast-paced setting.

Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED and state-mandated training; willingness to travel between offices; valid driver’s license and insurance; strong communication and teamwork skills.

Qualifications

• Equivalent to high school diploma or GED and state-mandated training for certification/licensure.
• Specialty Dental Assistants must possess a valid driver’s license and automobile insurance.

Responsibilities

• Perform duties per state Board of Dentistry Permitted Duties.
• Assist clinicians during procedures and manage sterile environment.
• Escort patients and coordinate with front desk and clinicians.
• Take radiographs and intra-oral photos as directed.
• Prepare tray setups and maintain operatory supply levels.
