Qualifications

• Juris Doctorate AND ten years of experience practicing law in criminal, civil, or administrative proceedings.
• OR: One year with Pima County in an Attorney Supervisor position.

Responsibilities

• Supervises and leads attorneys and support staff of a respective bureau within the department.
• Oversees bureau operations, manages case flow and court schedules, and ensures quality of work.
• Evaluates personnel and program performance and makes staffing recommendations.
• Develops charging guidelines, legal assessments, and office standards based on law and evidentiary rules.
• Provides guidance to law enforcement on investigations and case management.
• Represents the department in court, strategic planning, and policy implementation.
