Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Atlantic City is seeking a Specialty Cook for Kitchen Administration. The role supports the Sous Chef and lead cooks to ensure high-quality food preparation, presentation, and sanitation.

You will assist with quality control, portioning, and keeping strict rotation and labeling practices in a fast-paced, high-volume kitchen. The position emphasizes flexibility across kitchen stations, customer relations, and adherence to health standards, with opportunities for growth

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of experience working in a high-volume kitchen.
• 3–5 years Lead or Supervisor experience required.
• Flexible and able to work all kitchen areas.
• Promotes positive customer relations; handles guest complaints.

Responsibilities

• Under the direction of the Sous Chef, maintains standards established in preparation and presentation of food including tasting, presentation and sanitation.
• Assists the Sous Chef and Cook in quality and portion control of product.
• Promotes positive public/employee relations at all times; maintains a clean, safe, hazard-free work environment.
• Prepare production in accordance with established standards set by Restaurant Chef.
• Sees to labeling, rotation, storage temperature and environment required.
• Maintain quality inventory control of your production.
• Ensure production and storage areas comply with city/state health department codes.
