Job summary

Atrium Health is seeking a Nurse Practitioner for the GCMG Creek Point OBGYN practice (Union West) in Charlotte. The role focuses on comprehensive obstetric/gynecologic care within a busy outpatient setting.

The candidate will perform exams, order tests, develop treatment plans, and collaboratively participate in patient care and clinical policy development. A Master's or DNP and RN licensure are required, with board certification preferred.

Qualifications

• Master's Degree in Nursing or Doctorate of Nursing Practice required.
• RN license to practice required.
• Board certification in the area of practice from a nationally recognized certifying body preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs initial and periodic medical history, physical examinations and daily assessments.
• Records findings of examinations, assessments and plan of care.
• Performs minor office-based medical and/or surgical procedures.
• Writes prescriptions and administers medications.
• Orders and interprets daily laboratory and radiology examinations.
• Determines treatment plan for patient.
• Documents all patient encounters in the medical record.
• Acts as patient advocate for the population served.
• Attends and contributes to practice meetings and policy development.

Education

Master's Degree or Doctorate of Nursing Practice

RN license required

Board certification in specialty preferred
