Atrium Health Women’s Care Shelby OBGYN in Shelby, NC, is seeking an Advanced Practice Provider (PA or NP) to join an established OB/GYN team providing full-spectrum women’s health care across multiple nearby communities.

The role offers a 40-hour workweek, Monday-Thursday 8:00am - 5:00pm and Friday 7:00am - 2:00pm, with competitive pay and a comprehensive benefits package including PTO, health, retirement, and CME support.

Qualifications

• 3 years of APP experience.
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in Women’s Health.
• Graduation from an accredited Physician Assistant Program; master’s degree preferred.
• Current North Carolina Medical Board Medical License, NCCPA
• Current American Heart Association or Red Cross Basic Life Support (BLS) is required to start.
• Current Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA) and Department of Public Safety (DPS) registration, for prescription writing is required to start.
• Graduation from accredited Nurse Practitioner Master's Program, and/or Doctor of Nursing Practice for Nurse Practitioners required.
• Current North Carolina Board of Nursing Registered Nurse and Nurse Practitioner license
• Board certified as a Nurse Practitioner by AANP or ANCC
• Current American Heart Association or Red Cross Basic Life Support (BLS) is required to start.
• Current Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA) and Department of Public Safety (DPS) registration, for prescription writing is required to start.

Responsibilities

• Full spectrum of OBGYN and Women’s Health conditions.
• IUD, Nexplanon, EMB procedures.
• 1300 annual live births at Atrium Health Cleveland.
• Established OBGYN practice with 4 locations throughout Cleveland and Rutherford counties in the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains.
