Allina Health is seeking a Clinical Nurse Specialist (CNS) to lead specialty nursing practice within our 34003815 Nursing Practice & Research department. You’ll assess, plan and implement advanced nursing interventions for adult acute-care patients, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to improve outcomes.

The role requires 2–5 years in a specialty area and a master’s CNS degree (APN degree accepted in lieu). The CNS will mentor staff and drive evidence-based changes across care settings.

Qualifications

• Clinical expertise in adult acute-care medical/surgical nursing.
• Experience leading evidence-based practice and nursing education.
• Ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to improve outcomes.

Responsabilités

• Performs assessment, triage, treatment planning and documentation for specialty patients.
• Develops differential diagnoses and plans of care for complex needs.
• Educates staff and partners with leaders to implement practice changes.
• Facilitates patient transitions and discharge planning with the team.
• Documents outcomes and disseminates results to stakeholders.
• Mentors nurses and advances CNS practice within the unit.
