Job summary

Boyd Gaming Corporation is seeking a friendly bartender for our Louisiana venue in Vinton. You will craft and serve beverage orders, master our signature drinks, and help create a welcoming bar atmosphere for guests.

You will handle cash transactions, keep the bar organized, restock supplies, and ensure compliance with licenses and safety rules. Bar experience and the ability to stand for long shifts are preferred; must be 21 or older.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Previous bartender experience preferred.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Must be able to stand and walk for duration of shift.
• Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds.
• Must be able to obtain/maintain any necessary licenses and/or certifications.

Responsibilities

• Master signature drink recipes and mix beverages with flair and precision, delivering consistent quality.
• Handle cash transactions and maintain accurate bank; process transactions smoothly.
• Keep the bar area clean and inviting by clearing used glasses, wiping surfaces, and restocking supplies.
• Greet guests and engage in friendly conversation to enhance the guest experience.
• Prepare requisitions and orders for bar stock to maintain supplies.

• Work the cash register like a pro—process transactions smoothly, keep your bank accurate, and handle the financial side with confidence.
• Keep the bar looking sharp and inviting by clearing used glasses, wiping down surfaces, restocking napkins, and maintaining a spotless workspace.
• Be the friendly face behind the bar—greet guests with genuine warmth and engage in great conversations that make their experience memorable.
• Stay ahead of the game by preparing requisitions and orders for bar stock to keep supplies flowing.
• Keep the ice supply fresh and ready so you never miss a beat during service.
