LaForce is seeking a Specialties Project Manager to drive projects from initiation to completion, maintaining strong customer relationships and ensuring profitability through effective vendor negotiations.

Daily duties include coordinating with vendors, interpreting plans and specifications, and collaborating across departments to keep projects on track. The role emphasizes organization, analytical thinking, and proactive decision-making with primarily onsite work and evolving flexibility.

Qualifications

  • A bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in project management, business, or a related field.
  • Ability to engage with clients, vendors, and internal teams through business correspondence, phone, and email.
  • Strong analytical skills to interpret plans, building codes, and technical instructions.
  • Comfortable working with budgets, negotiating with vendors, and ensuring profitability.

What You'll Do:

As a Specialties Project Manager, you'll take charge of projects, ensuring smooth execution from start to finish. You'll troubleshoot challenges, maintain strong customer relationships, and handle negotiations to keep projects profitable. Daily, you'll communicate with vendors, interpret plans and specifications, and collaborate across departments to keep everything on track.

This role requires someone who is organized, analytical, and proactive-someone who can make decisions, manage paperwork, and keep all moving parts aligned. While this position is primarily onsite, there is some flexibility as operations evolve.

  • Education & Experience - A bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in project management, business, or a related field.
