Position Overview: The Specially Designed Instructional Mentor will serve as a guide and resource for educators to effectively implement specially designed instruction across the district. Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in special education or a related field
• Master’s degree preferred

Experience:

• At least three (3) years of experience in special education, including implementation of specially designed instruction
• Proven experience in mentoring, coaching, or professional development

Knowledge, Licenses, and Skills:

• Possess or able to obtain and maintain a valid Oklahoma teaching certificate in Special Education
• Familiarity with federal and state special education laws and regulations
• Deep knowledge of specially designed instruction and evidence-based practices for students with disabilities
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Google Office Suite
• Experience with educational technology tools and data management
• Bilingual in Spanish is preferred
