Saks Fifth Avenue Llc is seeking a Specialized Operations Associate to support the General Office and Jewelry Department operations. Under the guidance of the Assistant General Manager, Operations, you will manage daily office tasks, open/close procedures, and assist with store operations and jewelry workflows.

The role involves handling receipts, deposits, and reconciliations, while ensuring compliance with company standards.

Qualifications

• Ability to lift cartons up to 15 lbs, climb ladders, and move merchandise.
• Strong computer skills including Google, MS Office and adaptability to new technology.
• Fast-paced, team-oriented environment with high multitasking requirements and minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• General Office: opening store, handling safe, controller, registers and reports.
• Maintain daily functions: cash entries, deposits, bank reconciliations, and petty cash.
• Resolve customer issues and track/ship packages; support Jewelry Operations per standards.
• Receive, verify, and book all jewelry; process re-tickets, transfers, shipments, and price changes.
• Maintain repair logs and manage vendor repairs; verify trunk show merchandise and show results.
• Submit special orders and statements of sale; communicate with Corporate Merchants and Vendors.
• Audit readiness and adherence to Internal Audit standards; assist selling floor as needed.

Job Description

YOU WILL BE: Under the leadership of the Assistant General Manager, Operations, the Specialized Operations Associate is responsible for the daily operations of the General Office and operational functions of the Jewelry Department.

What You Will Do

• General Office
• Opening the store: safe, controller, registers and distributing reports
• Maintaining daily functions, including but not limited to: morning cash entry, processing bank deposits, reconciling chargebacks, and counting register and petty cash
• Resolving customer issues, both internal and external, i.e. researching/payment of bills, tracking/processing customer packages
• Jewelry Operations
• Follows Jewelry Standards and Shipping Guidelines
• Receive, verify, and properly book all jewelry in accordance with Company standards
• Effectively processes re-tickets, RTV's, Transfers, ASN Shipments and price changes
• Retrieve and process all merchandise to be returned/transferred to the vendor in accordance with Company standards
• Ensure case counts are completed, all merchandise is entered into the case count system after receipt, and all discrepancies are reconciled
• Maintain a repair log, track all repairs sent to the vendor or local shop, and submit repair invoices
• Receive and verify all merchandise for trunk shows, assist in show set-up/take down and recap results
• Prepare and submit all special order requests and Statements of Sale when requested
• Communicate with Corporate Merchants, Account Payable, Inventory Control and vendors as needed
• Common Internal Audit readiness and adherence to Internal Audit standards, including but not limited to monitoring vault/safe contents to remain up-to-date (audit ready)
• Assist managers and associates on the selling floor as necessary

Process Fulfillment orders

Ad hoc responsibilities as needed.

What You Will Bring

Salary Range $19.61 - $24.51*

Compensation for this role varies by geographic location. The listed range reflects multiple markets, including higher-cost areas. Actual starting pay will be determined based on work location, experience, and other job-related factors.
