Job summary

Lutheran Social Services of WI & Upper MI is seeking a Human Services Professional - Specialized to provide in-home, school, and community support. The role supports clients in building independence, coping skills, and goals under supervision of a Licensed Therapist or Therapist-In-Training.

Responsibilities include psychoeducation, skill development, and collaboration with families and partners, with some evenings and weekends required in a mission-driven, community-focused setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a human services or related field is required.
• Relevant degrees may include Psychology, Social Work, Sociology, Counseling, Criminal Justice, Marriage & Family Studies, Special Education, and other related fields.
• Experience working with individuals experiencing mental health challenges is preferred.
• Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and ability to travel throughout the community is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide individual and family psychoeducation and skill development services.
• Support clients with daily living, parenting, social, employment, and community engagement skills.
• Collaborate with clients, families, treatment teams, and community partners.
• Utilize evidence-based practices to support positive outcomes.
• Complete timely documentation and maintain accurate client records.
• Participate in recovery teams, supervision, and ongoing professional development.
• Respond to client needs through flexible scheduling, including some evenings and weekends.
