Job summary

Lutheran Social Services of WI and Upper MI is seeking a compassionate Human Services Professional - Specialized to deliver skill-building, psychoeducation, and supportive services in clients' homes, schools, and communities.

Under supervision of a Licensed Therapist or Therapist‑In‑Training, you will help clients build independence, coping skills, and goals, with some evening and weekend availability to meet family needs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a human services or related field required
• Relevant degrees may include Psychology, Social Work, Sociology, Counseling, Criminal Justice, Marriage & Family Studies, Special Education, and other related fields
• Experience working with individuals experiencing mental health challenges is preferred
• Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and ability to travel throughout the community required

Responsibilities

• Provide individual and family psychoeducation and skill development services
• Support clients with daily living, parenting, social, employment, and community engagement skills
• Collaborate with clients, families, treatment teams, and community partners
• Utilize evidence‑based practices to support positive outcomes
• Complete timely documentation and maintain accurate client records
• Participate in recovery teams, supervision, and ongoing professional development
• Respond to client needs through flexible scheduling, including some evenings and weekends
