Job summary

Lutheran Social Services of WI & Upper MI in Wisconsin is seeking a Human Services Professional - Specialized to provide skill-building, psychoeducation, and supportive services to individuals and families in homes, schools, and communities.

Under supervision of a Licensed Therapist or Therapist‑In‑Training, you will help clients build independence, healthier coping skills, and lasting goals, with some evenings and weekends required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a human services or related field.
• Experience with mental health challenges preferred.
• Valid driver's license and ability to travel throughout the community.
• Related fields may include Psychology, Social Work, Sociology, Counseling, Criminal Justice, Marriage & Family Studies, Special Education, etc.

Responsibilities

• Provide individual and family psychoeducation and skill development services.
• Support daily living, parenting, social, employment, and community engagement skills.
• Collaborate with clients, families, treatment teams, and community partners.
• Utilize evidence-based practices to support positive outcomes.
• Complete timely documentation and maintain accurate client records.
• Participate in recovery teams, supervision, and ongoing professional development.
• Respond to client needs through flexible scheduling, including some evenings and weekends.
