Job summary

X-energy LLC in Rockville, MD seeks a Teamcenter Librarian to standardize NX CAD reuse libraries and material definitions for nuclear-grade components. You will manage COTS parts, enforce naming standards, and collaborate with engineering and procurement to ensure data accuracy and regulatory compliance.

The role targets data-centric professionals with extensive NX and Teamcenter PLM experience, in-office work at 530 Gaither Road, Rockville, MD, 4 days a week, 8:00am-5:00pm ET, Mon-Fri.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in library science, information management, mechanical engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Extensive experience with NX and Teamcenter PLM demanded.

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain an organized NX CAD reuse library (fasteners, fittings, common components).
• Create and standardize material definitions for nuclear-grade materials.
• Manage COTS part library, including vendor models, specs, and procurement data.
• Develop and enforce naming conventions and classification standards.
• Coordinate with procurement to ensure COTS data accuracy and vendor alignment.
• Improve data quality and support regulatory compliance.
• Reduce design time by standardizing components and eliminating errors.
