Job summary

Bitpanda is seeking a Markets Operations Associate in a hybrid role. You will work with the Head of Markets and Trading Operations to keep the business running, learn front-to-back trading operations, and significantly influence daily processes and automation.

You’ll gain exposure to crypto and traditional assets, with opportunities to grow in a fast-paced, globally distributed team focused on reliability and scale.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Trading experience close to trading or trading operations; internship counts.
• Interest in digital assets is a plus and helpful for explaining results clearly.
• Structured, detail-minded and able to juggle priorities.

Responsibilities

• Keep trading running by monitoring daily processes and resolving issues before they reach clients.
• Manage asset lifecycle from listing to go-live and delisting.
• Own weekly and monthly reporting and coordinate across teams.
• Collaborate with Trading, Product, Engineering and Compliance to unblock initiatives.
• Identify manual work worth automating and improve processes, including AI tools.

Your mission

Markets is the engine behind everything our clients trade, across crypto and traditional assets. As a Markets Operations Associate, you will work directly with the Head of Markets and our Trading Operations & Asset Lifecycle teams. You will help keep the business running smoothly, measured and ready to scale. It s an entry-level role with real responsibility from day one. You ll see how a front-to-back trading business works, learn from experienced Markets professionals, and make a visible difference to how we operate and perform.

What you’ll do

Keep trading running: monitor daily processes and help resolve issues before they reach clients. Run the asset lifecycle: take crypto and securities listings and delistings from request to go-live. Keep Markets on track: own the weekly and monthly reporting and coordinate across teams. Remove bottlenecks: work with Trading, Product, Engineering and Compliance to unblock initiatives. Make it scale: spot manual work worth automating and improve our processes, including with AI tools.

Who you are

You have a degree in Finance, Economics or a related field, or equivalent practical experience. Trading experience: You ve already worked close to trading or trading operations, and early-career or internship experience counts. Curious about digital assets: Prior experience is a bonus, and a keen interest in the space is what counts. You are structured and detail-minded. You can analyse data, juggle priorities and explain results clearly. You take ownership and follow a problem through to a solution.
