What You Will Do

Due to continued expansion, we have an exciting opportunity for a Specialist Systems Engineer to join the EOS Team. You will oversee projects from award to final commissioning, ensuring the successful delivery by identifying specific needs or processes, including tooling, test documentation, or resources. The role may require onsite commissioning and troubleshooting assistance.

Key Responsibilities

• Support project managers, field teams, and sales with technical expertise, including product testing and commissioning support.
• Collaborate with teams to modify or create documentation and workflows for successful project deployment.
• Provide guidance, mentorship, and skill development to team members.
• Review and modify project Scope of Works (SOW) to ensure operational success and customer satisfaction.
• Stay current with technical aspects of installed systems through manufacturer training and partnerships.
• Review and approve technical documents such as schematic flow diagrams, rack and layout drawings, and detailed technical info for handover.
• Provide feedback on technical project aspects to improve processes and deployments to EOS standards.
• Review and approve final as-built drawings for project closeout.

Essential Criteria

• 8+ years of design experience in the AV industry or 10+ years of professional AV industry experience in implementation/support.
• Degree in a technical discipline or equivalent experience.
• Knowledge of design, implementation, installation, or service of technologies like control systems (Crestron, AMX, Extron), audio (BIAMP, QSC, POLYCOM), video (Cisco, Polycom, QSC, Crestron, Lightware, Teams, Zoom), AVoIP, and broadcast hardware.
• CTS certification or higher.
• Experience managing large projects.
• Self-management skills for scheduling and priorities.
• Excellent communication skills across written, visual, and verbal formats.
• Knowledge of audio systems, video systems, control systems, video conferencing, AV infrastructure, and flexibility to work across time zones and travel as needed.
• Full driving license.

Desirable Criteria

• Certifications like CTS-D, CTS-I, CCNA, or network certifications.
• Degree in Engineering.
• Experience with AutoCAD, BIM, Microsoft Office, Ease Software, or certifications from Shure, QSC, Lightware.
• Strong technical writing skills.
