WHAT YOU WILL DO

Due to continued expansion, we have an exciting opportunity for a Specialist Systems Engineer to join the EOS team. You will oversee projects from award to final commissioning, ensuring all specific needs or processes are identified for successful delivery, including tooling, test documentation, or resources. This role may require onsite assistance with system commissioning and troubleshooting.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Support Project Managers, Field Implementation Teams, and Sales with technical assistance, product testing, and commissioning support.
2. Collaborate with teams to modify or create documentation and workflows to ensure successful project deployment.
3. Provide guidance, mentorship, and skill development to team members.
4. Review and modify project Scope of Works (SOW) to ensure operational success and customer satisfaction.
5. Stay current with system technical aspects through manufacturer training and partnership relations.
6. Review and approve technical documents such as schematic flow diagrams, rack drawings, layout drawings, and technical info for IP systems for project handover.
7. Communicate project status and technical feedback internally to improve processes and deployment standards.
8. Approve final as-built drawings for project closeout and completion.

ESSENTIAL CRITERIA

• 8+ years of design experience in the AV industry or 10+ years of professional AV industry experience in implementation/support.
• Degree in a technical discipline or equivalent experience.
• Knowledge of design, implementation, installation, or service of technologies such as Control (Crestron, AMX, Extron), Audio (BIAMP, QSC, POLYCOM), Video (Cisco, Polycom, QSC, Crestron, Lightware, Teams, Zoom), AVoIP, AV networks, and broadcast hardware.
• CTS certification or higher.
• Experience in project or field management for large projects.
• Strong self-management skills for scheduling and priorities.
• Excellent communication skills (written, visual, verbal).
• Knowledge of audio systems, video systems, control systems, video conferencing, AV infrastructure design, and planning.
• Flexibility to work across time zones and willingness to travel internationally.
• Valid driver's license.

DESIRABLE CRITERIA

• CTS-D, CTS-I, CCNA, or network certifications.
• Educational background in engineering.
• Experience with AutoCAD, BIM, Microsoft Office, Ease Software, and certifications from Shure, QSC, Lightware.
• Proficiency in technical writing.
