Job summary

Meridian Healthcare in Gainesville, FL is seeking a Recovery Specialist to support treatment teams and foster a safe, recovery-focused milieu. You will assist with direct client care and maintain therapeutic relationships while upholding dignity and respect for all clients served.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred and 2 years' experience in a human service field required.
• College education in human service field may be substituted for experience.
• Personal recovery of at least 2 years may be substituted for work experience.

About the Role

As a Recovery Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the operational excellence and strategic direction of Meridian. You will:

• Assists the treatment team in providing direct client care.

What We're Looking For

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred and 2 years' experience in a human service field required.

OR

• College education in human service field may be substituted for experience

• Personal recovery of at least 2 years may be substituted for work experience

Preference is given to candidates with work experience in substance abuse. Current Florida Driver's License with a clean driving record while meeting company insurance requirements required.
