Job summary

Venture Global LNG is seeking an experienced Procurement Specialist to join the Cameron, LA procurement team. You will handle third-party goods and services for Calcasieu Pass LNG Operations, driving RFx processes and cost-effective sourcing.

The role requires five years of supply chain experience in oil & gas, strong SAP and Coupa proficiency, and the ability to engage with stakeholders across the organization. A bachelor’s degree is required, with equal opportunity employment.

Qualifications

• Minimum of five years supply chain experience in the oil and gas industry.
• Experience using SAP.
• Self-starter with ability to work strategically under little direction.
• Ability to build relationships and engage with stakeholders across the organization.
• Strong knowledge of maintenance practices and operations processes.

Responsibilities

• Independently conducts RFx and bidding processes for spare parts, optimizing quality, delivery and cost.
• Execute sourcing plans to secure supply and minimize disruptions.
• Lead initiatives using sourcing best practices.
• Perform contract administration including PO/contract documents in SAP and Coupa.
• Support stakeholders in scope of work development and stakeholder communications.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities through supplier and contract activity.
