Job summary

Footbridge Federal in Florida is seeking a mechanical engineer with active TS/SCI clearance to author technical data packages, lead drafting teams, and present design concepts to stakeholders. You will drive subsystem evaluations, manage configuration control, and support field deployments.

This contract role requires hands-on CAD experience (3D modeling), proficiency with Creo, and familiarity with GD&T. You will work on-site, coordinate with technicians, and participate in formal reviews

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI clearance with a CI polygraph.
• 4+ years experience with a Bachelor’s degree, 2+ years with a Master’s degree, or 8+ years direct experience in lieu of a degree.
• Hands-on background in 3D CAD modeling and hardware testing.

Responsibilities

• Familiarity with actuators, custom gear trains, electro-optical hardware, or additive manufacturing techniques.
