Job summary

Footbridge Federal seeks a software engineer to design, develop, and manage custom software applications and data processing workflows for defense and federal programs. This role requires a Bachelor’s in a STEM field with 3+ years of professional experience, strong C/C++ (C++11+, STL, Boost), Python, MATLAB, and familiarity with Git, Maven/Gradle, XML, SQL, and Google Protocol Buffers.

Active Secret clearance is required; a Master’s degree is preferred, plus cloud/HPC experience, Docker, JSON,

Qualifications

• Active Secret security clearance.
• Bachelor’s degree in a STEM field (such as Computer Science, Mathematics, or Physics) with at least 3 years of professional experience.
• Strong programming experience in C/C++ (C++11 or later, Standard Template Library, and Boost).
• Proficiency with Python and MATLAB.
• Experience with version control and build automation tools (Git, GitHub, GitLab, Maven, Gradle, or Make/Autotools).
• Familiarity with XML, SQL, and Google Protocol Buffers.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present technical concepts clearly.
