Job summary

ElevateBio is seeking a Specialist I, Materials Management to join our Warehouse team in Waltham, MA. You will assist with all facets of warehouse operations including receiving, inventory management, kitting for GMP orders, and shipping coordination.

This contract role requires 3–5 years of GMP warehouse or logistics experience, ERP/inventory systems expertise (SAP EWM preferred), and strong organizational and communication skills.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Use SAP system to perform Goods receipts, Goods issues, inventory movement, and other transactions.
• Access vendor websites to obtain Certificates of Analysis (COAs).
• Perform Kitting of GMP orders from SAP generated pick list.
• Perform inventory management including executing Cycle Counts.
• Move GMP and non-GMP materials using manual labor and pallet jacks.
• Cross train with other team members for backup coverage.
• Maintain a high level of communication with internal and external customers.
• Coordinate shipments and pack outs of GMP and non-GMP materials.
• Input data in SAP, MS Office, and other systems with high accuracy.
• Provide loading dock coverage for receiving deliveries and shipment handoffs.
• Replenish materials on POU racks daily.

The Role

ElevateBio is looking for a Specialist I, Materials Management to join our Warehouse team. You will assist with all facets of a warehouse operation including receiving, inventory management, creating material kits for use in manufacturing as well as logistics and shipping. This is a contract position.

Here's What You'll Do

• Use SAP system to perform Goods receipts, Goods issues, inventory movement, and other transactions.
• Access vendor websites to obtain Certificates of Analysis (COAs).
• Perform Kitting of GMP orders from SAP generated pick list.
• Perform inventory management including executing Cycle Counts.
• Use manual labor and pallet jacks to move both GMP and non-GMP materials to and from storage locations and shipping docks.
• Cross train with other team members to ensure proper back up coverage.
• Maintain a high level of communication with internal and external customers.
• Coordinate shipments and perform pack outs of GMP and non-GMP materials.
• Access various business systems and input data with a high level of accuracy (i.e. SAP, MS Office, etc.)
• Provide loading dock coverage for receiving deliveries and handing off shipments.
• Replenish materials on POU (point of use) racks daily.

Requirements

• 3-5 years of GMP warehouse or logistics experience
• ERP / Computer Based Inventory Systems experience (SAP EWM preferred)
• Adhere to all ElevateBio safety requirements.
• Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to perform duties with minimal supervision and must be adaptable to a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
• Ability to follow detailed verbal instructions as well as follow standard operating procedures (SOPs).
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Detail oriented with strong problem-solving skills.
• Flexibility in duty assignments and ability to work overtime, holidays, weekends, and different shifts as required.
• Carry on-call phone according to schedule.

The budgeted range for this position is $43/hour - $57/hour. This range is a good faith estimate of the expected hourly range for this position, based on a wide range of factors including qualifications, experience and training, operational and business needs and other considerations permitted by law.
