We foster an inclusive culture and are looking for diverse, talented people to join Alcon. As a Specialist I supporting our Manufacturing Team, you will be trusted to work on setting up, operating, maintaining, and troubleshooting manufacturing packaging machinery/equipment at Sinking Spring, PA.

In this role, a typical day will include:
  • Perform a variety of repetitive, skilled manual operations to exacting standards
  • Strict adherence to SOPs and GMPs
  • Ability to read and understand product specifications, blueprints, and documentation
  • Assist in maintaining detailed product documentation and verification of applicable records
  • Maintain a clean and orderly work area
  • Ensure product quality during manufacturing process
  • Set grinding wheel, adjust press station or curve when required
What you'll bring to Alcon:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to fluently read, write, understand, and communicate in English
  • Work hours: 2nd Shift - 3pm-11pm
  • Travel Requirements: None

Preferred Qualifications/Skills/Experience:

  • Previous experience with machine operation, set-ups, and troubleshooting
  • Punch Press and Grinding experience
  • Strong analytical and mechanical skills
