Job summary

Alcon is seeking a Sr. Operator I to support the Phaco Department in Sinking Spring, PA. You will set up, operate, maintain, and troubleshoot manufacturing equipment to ensure high-quality product output.

This night-shift role emphasizes safe, compliant operations within a robust manufacturing environment and offers opportunities to contribute to continuous improvement across the site.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• The ability to fluently read, write, understand and communicate in English.
• Work hours: 10:30pm - 6:30am.
• Travel Requirements: Minimal, Between Sites.
• Relocation assistance: None.
• Sponsorship available: No.

Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of repetitive, manual assembly operations to exacting standards.
• Complete the batch records and associated documentation.
• Operate manufacturing equipment that may require performing visual and dimensional inspection, troubleshooting, and maintaining tooling.
• Monitor, evaluate, and adjust manufacturing equipment to maximize quality and efficiency.
• Work in a coordinated, computerized manufacturing environment with safety and regulatory compliance.
• May participate in process improvement projects developing methods to improve quality, cost, and scheduling.

As a Sr. Operator I supporting Manufacturing, you will be trusted to work on setting up, operating, maintaining, and troubleshooting manufacturing machinery/equipment in the Phaco Department at Sinking Spring, PA.

In this role, a typical day will include:

• Perform a variety of repetitive, manual assembly operations to exacting standards.
• Complete the batch records and associated documentation
• Operate manufacturing equipment that may require performing visual and dimensional inspection of product, troubleshooting equipment, and maintaining consumable tooling in equipment
• Monitor, evaluate, and adjust manufacturing equipment to maximize quality and efficiency
• Work in a coordinated, computerized manufacturing environment. Tasks are performed in accordance with applicable safety guidelines, as well as appropriate processing standards. Tasks are completed in compliance with all regulatory requirements
• May participate in program or functional team projects developing process improvement methods, solutions, and procedures to improve program quality, cost, and scheduling
