Sentry BioPharma Services is seeking a Building Management System (BMS) Specialist I to help maintain validated BMS software and support GMP storage operations. You will collaborate across Facilities, Operations, IT and Quality Assurance to ensure system integrity and compliance with regulatory standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, IT, Business (non-accounting) or related field; regulatory docs experience is a plus.
• Experience in the pharmaceutical/biotech industry a plus.
• Experience with Tridium Niagara or equivalent system.
• Technical writing experience preferred.
• Knowledge of GMP regulations and validation processes.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and operate validated BMS software to ensure quality standards.
• Collaborate with Facilities, Operations, IT, and Quality Assurance to integrate BMS into daily operations.
• Troubleshoot and resolve BMS issues to minimize downtime.
• Contribute to development and implementation of new technologies and best practices.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support the maintenance and operation of Sentry’s validated BMS software to ensure compliance with quality standards.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Facilities, Operations, IT, and Quality Assurance to facilitate seamless integration of BMS into daily operations.
• Assist in troubleshooting and resolving issues related to BMS systems to minimize downtime and ensure system reliability.
• Contribute to the development, review, and implementation of new technologies, best practices, and process improvements within the BMS environment.
• Maintain accurate documentation of system configurations, changes, and validation activities in accordance with regulatory requirements.
• Support validation activities, including testing, calibration, and audits, to ensure ongoing compliance and system integrity.
• Participate in training sessions and provide technical support to end-users to promote effective system utilization.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Prior experience with Building Management Systems (BMS) or similar automation/control systems preferred.
• Knowledge of GMP regulations and validation processes within regulated environments.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities to collaborate effectively across departments.
• Attention to detail and organizational skills to manage documentation and validation activities.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Information Technology, Business (non-accounting) or related field. Regulatory documentation and process familiarity is a plus.
• Experience in the pharmaceutical and/or biotech industry or related field is a plus.
• Experience with Tridium Niagara or equivalent system / Advanced software configuration is a plus.
• Technical Writing experience is preferred.
