WSB and Associates is seeking an Early Career HR Specialist to lead our national intern program and support graduate engineers and new hires. You will manage recruitment, onboarding, orientation, mentorship, and training while partnering with universities and industry groups to build a strong talent pipeline.

The role emphasizes engagement, program analytics, and collaboration with hiring managers to align early career strategies with workforce needs.

Qualifikationen

• 24 years of experience in HR, talent acquisition, or campus recruiting.
• PHR/SHRM-CP/HRIP certification preferred.

• Serve as a key point of contact for interns, graduate engineers, and early career staff, offering guidance, engagement, and support throughout their early journey with the firm.
• Ensure compliance with employment laws and internal policies related to hiring and onboarding.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation related to recruitment and program activities.

Specialist, Human Resources Early Career

The Early Career Specialist leads WSBs national intern program, overseeing 60+ interns each year. This role owns the full intern experience, from recruitment and coordination to engagement, development, and the execution of summer programming. The Specialist also supports our early career professionals program for graduate engineers and new full-time hires, helping them onboard and grow in their first years with the company. By creating meaningful early career experiences, this role builds a strong national talent pipeline and supports long-term employee growth and retention. What you will do:

• Partner with and guide hiring managers to understand workforce needs and align early career strategies accordingly.

• Organize and attend career fairs, networking events, and campus recruitment activities.

• May remain in stationary position for extended periods.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

What you will bring:

• Bachelors degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
• 24 years of experience in HR, talent acquisition, or campus recruiting, preferably in the AEC industry.
• PHR, SHRM-CP, or HRIP certification preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Suite Products (e.g. Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, SharePoint, OneDrive, etc).
• Work is primarily performed in an office environment with standard office equipment, WSB offers a hybrid work environment.
• Minimal travel may be required.
