The Role

The HR Specialist supports HRIS, compliance, benefits administration, talent acquisition, and FMLA administration for properties in Nevada, Colorado, and Missouri.


Responsibilities
  1. Develops and conducts processes to ensure accurate HR/HRIS procedures in accordance with policies, regulations, and SOX narratives.
  2. Serves as the property SME on HRIS, benefits, FMLA, and compliance, ensuring data integrity and system accuracy.
  3. Maintains HRIS and modifies programs to report data as needed.
  4. Administers LOAs, including personal, medical, and FMLA leaves, following policies and regulations. Maintains LOA files and documentation.
  5. Oversees benefits programs administration and assists with annual open enrollment.
  6. Acts as the point of contact for 401k, benefit enrollments, and team member communications.
  7. Provides excellent customer service, ensuring standards are met and issues are addressed promptly.
  8. Ensures compliance with all relevant regulations and reports issues to management.
  9. Maintains confidentiality in all departmental and company matters.
Qualifications
  1. Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, HR, or related field; or equivalent experience.
  2. Minimum of one HR-related experience preferred.
  3. Proficiency in MS Office; UKG product knowledge is a plus.
  4. Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
  5. Strong customer service focus and attention to quality results.

Target Salary Range: Minimum $24.00/hour.
