Description

The Human Resources Coordinator is a shared services role, providing a customer service-based approach to the day-to-day support of our high-volume human resources department. The HR Coordinator will learn and provide administration and coordination support to various human resources functions and activities, responding and answering employee questions, resolving issues, and bringing continuous improvement to our HR processes. Our HR department provides related services to the company's global workforce in support of business objectives, corporate and department initiatives and upholding our best places to work environment. This is an onsite position M-F located at our World Headquarters in Kansas City, MO. We will not consider hybrid or remote applications.

Responsibilities
  • Utilize a wide variety of technologies to answer employee questions, resolve issues, and escalate complex questions as needed to appropriate HR team members.
  • Assist with the implementation and coordination of human resources programs and improvement of HR processes for the company. Provide regular status updates and utilization reports.
  • Provide prompt answers to a wide variety of questions from employees, managers, and other HR Team members.
  • Compile and organize data in response to internal and external requests.
  • Utilize internal and external resources to research and present on various human resources topics and findings.
  • Assist with the review and update of policies and processes. Responsible for maintaining process documents.
  • Review correspondence and respond/route/file appropriately.
  • Assist with the preparation of a variety of documents.
  • Distribute, track, receive and file documents.
  • Perform the data entry and maintenance of relevant candidate and employee information within human resources systems.
  • Responsible for receiving, processing and auditing confidential documents and data.
  • Assist with developing, delivering, maintaining and tracking training resources on various topics.
  • Schedule, set-up and facilitate interviews and meetings.
  • Update and maintain intranet page(s) and our HR Portal for functional area(s).
  • Assist with a variety of tasks related to hiring and onboarding new employees, and offboarding separating employees including, completing required paperwork, verifying required processes have been completed, answering basic questions, and providing direction to internal and external resources.
  • Communicate and coordinate with other departments to administer programs and complete processes, including but not limited to payroll, mail services, print services, marketing and communications.
  • Communicate and coordinate with third-party suppliers and/or providers to administer human resources programs. Utilize supplier/vendor systems as necessary. Review and process invoices.
  • Provide excellent client service to employees utilizing human resources programs and/or resources.
  • Assist with planning and executing human resources led events. Support and assist with corporate events.

  • Develop and maintain relationships with employees, managers and leaders throughout the organization.
  • Maintain communication between human resources, managers and employees to facilitate the success of department goals.
  • Communicate and coordinate with domestic, international and subsidiary human resources staff.
  • Recommend process improvements to increase efficiency performing job duties or improve client experience.
  • Maintain highest level confidentiality with regard to personal, medical and other sensitive information.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
  • Complies with all policies and standards.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor Degree in Business or related field required; an emphasis in Human Resources Management is preferred.
  • Previous human resources internship experience preferred.
  • ServiceNow experience preferred.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, interpersonal skills, and analytical skills.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and reprioritize as needed.
  • Proactive mindset with problem-solving and continuous improvement ability.
  • Must have the ability to clearly and effectively present information to all levels of employees, management, and external vendors.
  • Strong attention to detail, organization and time management skills.
  • Ability to multi-task and handle interruptions within a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong research skills, including compiling and presenting results.
  • Must be professional, self-starter and willing to be flexible.

This job posting will remain open a minimum of 72 hours and on an ongoing basis until filled.
