Job Duties & Responsibilities

• Deliver an outstanding athlete experience by proactively engaging athletes to understand their shopping needs and creating a world-class athlete experience, providing clear, accurate, and knowledgeable information about products and assortment.
• Assist with onboarding and training of new and existing team members as a subject matter expert of the store’s area, focusing on best practices, expectational selling skills, and key operational processes.
• Demonstrate efficiency and effectiveness in process execution while maintaining an athlete-first mindset; ensure products are ready for athletes to purchase and athletes are engaged when, where, and how they want.
• Uphold company merchandising and presentation standards by following established floor set plans, signage requirements, price changes, inventory presentation, replenishment standards, etc.
• Promote and drive customer participation in company programs (e.g., customer loyalty program participation, warranty sales, private label credit card enrollment, etc.).
• Create a store environment where everyone, both teammates and athletes, are always welcome and treated with respect. Adhere to established policies and procedures related to safety, loss prevention, and standard operating procedures, as well as to laws/guidelines of external governing entities.

QUALIFICATIONS

• High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• 1–3 years of experience.
• Previous retail or customer‑facing experience preferred.

Targeted Pay Range: $19.50 – $28.50. Starting rate of pay may vary based on location, experience and position offered. The actual hourly rate will equal or exceed the required minimum wage applicable to the job location. DICK'S Sporting Goods complies with all state paid leave requirements.
