Job summary

Genpact is seeking an Specialist - F&A - AP to join its Finance team in the United States. The role focuses on accounts payable activities, including transaction posting, invoice processing, and payment verification, with attention to PO and non-PO invoices and policy-compliant practices.

Strong data analytics and reconciliation skills are valued as part of the operational excellence. Ideal candidates will handle vendor files, ensure timely payments, and contribute to AP process improvements

Qualifications

• Bachelors in Accounting/Commerce/Economics/Finance or equivalent.
• Relevant professional certifications are a plus but not required.
• English language proficiency required; advanced level preferred.

Responsibilities

• Calculating, posting business transactions, processing invoices, verifying financial data.
• Process invoices with PO / Non-PO and review for payment approval.
• Ensure quality of AP processes and handle non-standard cases.
• Verify extensions and totals on invoices and apply discounts when applicable.
• Prepare vouchers with invoice details following accounting policies.
• Vendor reconciliation and manage payments cycle, GRIR reconciliations.

Job Description

• Calculating, posting business transactions, processing invoices, verifying financial data for use in maintaining accounts payable records
• Process invoices with PO / Non-PO
• Review invoices and requisitions for satisfactory payment approval
• Ensure quality of AP processes, handling of all not compliant and not standard processes within the country
• Verify and calculate all extensions and totals on invoices (calculating and taking discounts when applicable)
• Check vendor files for any previous payments and assign voucher numbers. Prepare vouchers listing invoice number, date, vendor address, item description, amount and coding per accounting policies and procedures
• Identify & implement AP improvements
• Vendor reconciliation and manage vendor payments cycle, GRIR reconciliations, Vendor advance etc
