Job summary

Cargill in Wichita, KS seeks a Salt Customer Service Specialist to manage end-to-end order processing for assigned accounts, analyze issues, and provide proactive solutions to ensure a reliable customer experience.

You will collaborate with Commercial, Supply Chain, and other functions, act as SME for accounts, and coach junior CSRs. Requires a Bachelor's degree or equivalent plus 2+ years in customer service/order management, with SAP/Salesforce and strong Excel skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or related experience.
• Minimum two years in customer service or order management.
• Experience navigating complex systems and tools.
• Experience in B2B customer-facing roles preferred.
• Supply chain experience and Excel proficiency are pluses.

Responsibilities

• Independently manage end-to-end order processing for assigned customer accounts using order management tools.
• Resolve moderately complex to complex order and issue management cases with limited supervision.
• Proactively identify and mitigate order management risks through continuous improvement.
• Communicate anticipated delays, constraints, or changes and provide timely alternatives to customers.
• Partner with Commercial, Supply Chain and other functions to resolve order exceptions and risks.
• Serve as a customer subject-matter expert (SME) for assigned accounts.
• Conduct root-cause analysis and support process improvements.
• Coach or mentor less-experienced CSRs as needed.
• Escalate only the most complex issues appropriately while owning resolution.
