Base pay range

POSITION SUMMARY

We’re seeking a detail-oriented, organized professional to join our Lateral Partner Recruiting and Integration team. This role supports identifying, hiring, and onboarding new lateral partners and senior lawyers. It’s ideal for someone who enjoys behind-the-scenes work to ensure smooth processes and delivers a professional, respectful experience. You’ll be part of a collaborative team that values clear communication and shared responsibility. Key qualities include strong client-service instincts, judgment, attention to detail, and the ability to handle multiple priorities professionally.

You will assist with interview scheduling, onboarding logistics, and cross-department coordination to ensure candidates and new hires are well-supported. The role involves administrative support, collaboration with internal departments, and occasional interaction with candidates and leadership.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
  • Coordinate all aspects of lateral partner recruiting, including scheduling interviews, preparing materials, tracking feedback, and updating candidate records.
  • Serve as a primary contact for candidates, ensuring timely communication and a positive experience.
  • Support development and execution of integration plans for new partners, including scheduling meetings and tracking progress.
  • Coordinate onboarding needs with internal departments such as Marketing, IT, Finance, and Practice Groups.
  • Maintain accurate tracking documents, reports, and checklists related to recruiting and onboarding.
  • Prepare updates, materials, and reports for internal stakeholders.
  • Conduct research on prospective candidates and market trends.
  • Contribute to projects related to lateral growth and attorney integration.
  • Handle confidential information with professionalism and discretion.
  • Assist with special projects, coaching initiatives, and training sessions.
QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS
  • Approximately five years of professional experience, preferably in legal or professional services settings. Experience in law firm recruiting or HR is a plus.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Comfort interacting with senior professionals and maintaining confidentiality.
  • Reliable, proactive, and service-oriented.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Experience with applicant tracking systems (e.g., viRecruit), Zoom, Teams, and Asana is helpful.
