About the Role

As a key member of the Marketing Insights & Analytics Team, the Specialist, Consumer Insights will support the Sr Director of Consumer Insights by developing and executing high-quality qualitative & quantitative research. The role involves synthesizing learnings into compelling stories and presenting insights and data-informed recommendations to cross-functional partners across the organization.

Responsibilities
  1. Assist the Sr Director of Consumer Insights in designing and executing custom qualitative & quantitative primary research.
  2. Deliver insights projects on time, within scope, and within budget constraints.
  3. Collaborate with internal stakeholders across teams such as New Product Development, Product Marketing, Consumer Marketing, and Creative to execute research studies.
  4. Interpret consumer data to understand preferences, motivations, and behaviors, representing the voice of the consumer in meetings and decision-making.
  5. Synthesize results and present findings to stakeholders to inform decisions.
  6. Manage research partner relationships, roadmaps, and capabilities.
Requirements
  1. Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (marketing, business, consumer) or equivalent experience.
  2. 2-4 years of experience in CPG or consumer research/strategy agency.
  3. Proven knowledge of quantitative and qualitative research methodologies, including surveys, segmentation, ethnography, focus groups, brand tracking, and competitive intelligence.
  4. Excellent written and oral communication skills, with experience presenting to large groups.
  5. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects against deadlines.
  6. Experience managing research vendors to deliver high-quality work on time and within budget.
  7. Self-starter with an entrepreneurial spirit.
  8. Passion and curiosity about food.
  9. Willingness to travel.
