BCPS is looking for a Specialist, Board Certified Behavior Analyst, to provide expertise and guidance on student behavior issues in Baltimore. The role involves conducting assessments, developing individualized programming, and training staff and caregivers on behavioral interventions.
Ideal candidates will hold a master’s degree and possess BCBA certification along with significant experience working with students in need of emotional and behavioral support. This full-time position offers a salary range of $92,235 - $148,354 and comprehensive benefits.
Provides advice, consultation, and guidance regarding student behavior issues. Collects, organizes, and analyzes data that assists with the development of individualized programming for students. Supports school teams with using behavioral intervention strategies supported by the principals of Applied Behavioral Analysis (ABA). Provides professional development to personnel supporting students in need of ABA supports. Ensures that all initiatives support the system-wide goals identified in systems strategic plan. Performs other duties as assigned.

The work of this class is generally performed at the office building level. Work includes the operation of office equipment, including personal computers, and occasional limited physical activities.
FLSA: Exempt
RETIREMENT: Eligible for the Baltimore County Employees’ Retirement System.
GRADE: OPE Grade 08
SALARY: $92,235 - $148,354
OTHER COMPENSATION: Position may be eligible for relocation bonus, extra duty activities pay, or other student activities pay as defined in the applicable Bargaining Unit Agreement.
