Job summary

Core One in Quantico, Virginia seeks an ATFP security professional to support antiterrorism training, risk analysis, and compliance oversight for overseas travelers. This role requires an active TS/SCI clearance and a Bachelor’s degree. You will contribute to ATFP planning and awareness across the workforce.

The position includes reviewing VAs, delivering advisories, and developing ATFP plans to deter and respond to threats, leveraging DCID/ICD guidelines and federal security regs.

Qualifications

• TS/SCI Clearance.
• 3-10 years of experience in personnel security.
• Complete Antiterrorism Level II course and ATFP experience.
• Knowledge of DCID 6/9, ICD 705, ICD 704, ICD 6/3 and related orders.

Responsibilities:

• Develop, present and facilitate ATFP training as directed. Assist with the delivery of Annual Antiterrorism Level I Awareness training. Maintain statistical data on training activities at the HQ and subordinate locations.
• Monitor the Agency’s overseas travelers to ensure all ATFP requirements are met.
• Review Vulnerability Assessments (VAs) according to DoDI 2000.16 guidance. Identify relevant risks to DCSA assets and personnel specified in the VAs.
• Identify the potential terrorist threats to DCSA personnel and assets to assist in developing an effective antiterrorism program.
• Support situational awareness through an analytical ATFP approach that includes reviewing intelligence and open source information; recommending ATFP informational, instructional and decision briefings; and preparing advisories to increase ATFP awareness within the workforce. Prepare and deliver situational awareness support through analytical ATFP program assistance.
• Draft and develop ATFP plans and procedures critical to deterrence, detection, defense, and response to terrorist incidents.

Qualifications:

• TS/SCI Clearance
• Desired Education: Bachelor’s degree in an area related to the labor category.
• 3-10 years of experience in personnel security.
• Complete Antiterrorism Level II course and demonstrate experience in ATFP.
• Experience in SCIF building requirements and knowledge of accreditations methods in accordance with DCID 6/9 and ICD 705; as well as federal regulations that encompass SCI and collateral security processes to include DCID 6/3, ICD 704, ICD 705, and relevant Executive Orders.

Salary Range: $100,000 - $104,000

The pay range reflected above is a general guideline for this position and labor category and is not a guarantee of a specific salary or offer. Final compensation is determined based on factors including, but not limited to, relevant experience, education, certifications, security clearance level, contract requirements, geographic location, and internal pay equity, and may reflect market data specific to the awarded contract.
