Armada Ltd in Panama City, FL seeks on-site Security Specialist (SSO) with Top Secret clearance and SCI eligibility to manage visitor control, escort duties, and access verification in assigned SCIFs. You will log entries, maintain rosters, conduct monthly walk-throughs, support IDS tests, and ensure unescorted access is allowed only with up-to-date authorization.

Requires HS Diploma, 3+ years of SCI/SCIF experience; DoD/Navy background preferred; background check and drug testing are conditions

Qualifications

• Active Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility.
• 3+ years security experience in a SCIF or secure facility.
• Navy or DoD SCI experience preferred.
• HS Diploma or equivalent.
• Background check and pre-employment drug testing required.

Responsabilités

• Verify visitor authorization before granting entry and keep the visitor log complete and reviewed.
• Serve as first point of contact for escort questions; confirm signed Escort Responsibilities Agreements and route originals to the SSO.
• Report any actual or potential security incident to the task lead and SSO immediately; support fact-finding as directed.
• Perform monthly walkthroughs and periodic inspections; document findings that cannot be corrected in the space.
• Support semi-annual IDS and response-force testing and file the results.
• Maintain access logs, the access roster, and local SCIF lifecycle files (FFC, accreditation messages).
• Do not grant unescorted access until the SSO has the updated roster and justification
• Other duties as assigned.

ARMADA is seeking SSRs to perform delegated SSO duties in assigned SCIFs under the on-site task lead and the NSWC PCD SSO.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Verify visitor authorization before granting entry and keep the visitor log complete and reviewed.
• Serve as first point of contact for escort questions; confirm signed Escort Responsibilities Agreements and route originals to the SSO.
• Report any actual or potential security incident to the task lead and SSO immediately; support fact-finding as directed.
• Perform monthly walkthroughs and periodic inspections; document findings that cannot be corrected in the space.
• Support semi-annual IDS and response-force testing and file the results.
• Maintain access logs, the access roster, and local SCIF lifecycle files (FFC, accreditation messages).

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs):

• Knowledge of SCI and SCIF security procedures, including visitor authorization, escort requirements, and access controls.
• Skill in verifying visitor authorization and maintaining complete visitor logs, ensuring entry follows established security procedures.
• Ability to resolve escort questions, verify signed Escort Responsibilities Agreements, and forward required documentation to the SSO.
• Ability to recognize and immediately report actual or potential security incidents to the task lead and SSO and support fact finding as directed.
• Skill in performing security walkthroughs and inspections, documenting unresolved findings, and supporting IDS and response force testing.
• Skill in maintaining accurate access logs, rosters, and SCIF lifecycle files, including Fixed Facility Checklists and accreditation messages, while following SSO requirements before allowing unescorted access.

Minimum/General Experience:

• Active Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility.
• Prior SCI indoctrination or the ability to be indoctrinated immediately.
• 3+ years physical, personnel, or special security experience in a SCIF or secure facility;
• Working knowledge of visitor control, escorts, access lists, and inspection checklists.

Preferred Qualifications

• Navy or DoD SCI experience preferred. ICD 705, FFC, or IDS testing experience is a plus.

Minimum Education:

• HS Diploma, or equivalent.
