Job summary

SpecialtyRx, Inc. seeks a licensed Florida pharmacist to join our CARE-driven team.

You will evaluate medication orders for drug, dosage, interactions, and proper administration, ensure medicines are dispensed with correct labeling, and support on-call duties as required. You should have strong analytical thinking, excellent written and verbal communication, attention to detail, and solid organizational skills.

Qualifications

• Licensed pharmacist in Florida.
• Long Term Care experience preferred.
• Experience in hospital and retail pharmacy or related medical fields.
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Computer skills; ECM software knowledge is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Ensure medicines are correctly supplied and labeled.
• Miscellaneous tasks and checks prepacks.
• Review medications and narcotics for automated dispensing machine.
• Coordinate emergency kits and cassettes for Omnicell machine.
• On-call duties when required.
• Perform any other task assigned by Pharmacist in Charge.

Responsibilities:

• Evaluate medication orders for appropriateness of drug, dosage, potential interactions, and proper administration.
• Ensure that dispense medicines are correctly supplied and labeled.
• Miscellaneous tasks, checks prepacks.
• Review medications & narcotics for automated dispensing machine.
• Works clarifications on orders and follow-ups.
• Obtain emergency CII verbals from physicians.
• Coordinates emergency kits and checks cassettes for the Omnicell
  machine.
• Perform “on-call” duties when required.
• Complete any other task assigned by the Pharmacist in Charge.

Qualifications:

• Licensed pharmacist in the State of Florida.
• Long Term Care experience preferred.
• Previous experience in Hospital and Retail pharmacy or other medical fields.
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.

• Framework / ECM software knowledge a plus.

Schedule:

• 2:30pm-11:00pm with rotating weekends and holidays.
