Responsibilities

• Assists students under teacher direction with activities to enable participation in class.
• Attends in-service training, workshops, IEPs, and meetings as requested.
• Confer with teachers to assess progress and support IEP objectives.
• Instructs students one-on-one or in small groups to meet IEP goals.
• Maintains instructional materials and student records for reliable information.
• Monitors students to ensure a safe, positive learning environment.
• Performs record keeping and clerical tasks to support teacher prep of records/materials.
• Records observations and incidents for communication to appropriate personnel.
