Job summary

Oberg Industries is seeking a Special Process Coordinator to link manufacturing operations with suppliers, purchasing, quality, and planning teams. You will coordinate outside processing essential for aerospace, defense, medical, automotive, and other high-precision work.

You should be organized, proactive, technically curious, and comfortable communicating with suppliers and internal teams. ERP, purchasing, and supply chain experience are valuable for this role.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in manufacturing, supply chain, purchasing, procurement, production planning, supplier coordination, or a related field.
• Experience working directly with suppliers, vendors, subcontractors, or outside processors.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• Experience using an ERP system such as Infor, SAP, Oracle, Epicor, or similar.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary contact for outside processing suppliers and subcontractors.
• Coordinate outsourced manufacturing from purchase order through completion with internal teams.
• Use ERP to manage supplier information, RFQs, purchase orders, subcontract orders, receiving records, certifications, and supplier documentation.
• Monitor supplier performance and resolve nonconformances.
