Job description

Responsibilities:

  1. Demonstrate thorough knowledge of human anatomy, physiology, and image quality.
  2. Communicate with patients to explain exams and relieve anxiety.
  3. Understand patient positioning, imaging techniques, radiation safety, imaging equipment, infection control, and quality control.
  4. Supervise students providing patient care, treatment, and services during their training.

Qualifications:

  • RO (State Radiography License) and ARRT-R, plus one of ARRT-VI, ARRT-CI, ARRT-CV, or RCIS within 18 months of hire
  • OR ROT (Temp State Radiography License), ARRT-R before ROT expiration, and one of ARRT-VI, ARRT-CI, ARRT-CV, or RCIS within 18 months of hire

Desired:

  • One year of interventional radiology experience
