Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Special Procedures Technologist at the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine, located in Miami, FL. The Technologist will operate medical imaging equipment for special procedures, ensure patient safety, prepare patients for procedures, and assist physicians during diagnostic and interventional procedures. Additional duties include maintaining accurate patient records and ensuring proper maintenance and calibration of equipment.

Qualifications

• Experience operating medical imaging equipment for special procedures
• Knowledge of patient safety protocols and ability to prepare patients for procedures
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to assist physicians during procedures
• Ability to maintain accurate patient records and ensure proper maintenance of equipment
• Certification in Radiologic Technology or related field
• Current state licensure and/or certification as required
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is a plus
