Job summary

The U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs is seeking a skilled registered nurse to support the Special Procedure Center. You will oversee pre-procedural and post-procedural care, assist with moderate sedation, and manage infusions for GI/pulmonary procedures.

Ideal candidates have RN licensure, a nursing degree from an accredited program, and ACLS/BLS certification. Strong English communication and clinical assessment skills are essential for safe, high-quality patient outcomes.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved nursing program and eligible for RN licensure.
• Proficiency in English for clinical communication and documentation.
• Licensure and certifications in ACLS/BLS as required by VA.
• Experience with pre/intra/post-procedural nursing care and infusions.

Responsibilities

• Provide care across pre-procedural to post-discharge phases for GI/Pulmonary and other procedures.
• Administer moderate sedation and procedural medications and monitor patients.
• Assess, plan, implement, document, and evaluate care with an interdisciplinary team.
