Job summary

Medical University of South Carolina, part of MUHA, seeks a skilled Radiology Tech to support the CVOR team during vascular procedures. You will operate the vascular C-arm, maintain radiation safety, and help position patients for surgery.

The role requires ARRT registration, SC license, BLS; ACLS preferred. Minimum 1 year experience. This on-site position features 40-hour weeks and an hourly pay structure with opportunities to contribute to the hybrid room development.

Qualifications

Minimum Training and Education

Associate’s Degree. Graduation from an accredited school of radiologic technology. Minimum of 1 year work experience.

Must be registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists. Licensure from the South Carolina Radiation Quality Standards Association is required.

Must be registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists. Licensure from the South Carolina Radiation Quality Standards Association is required. Current Basic Life Support (BLS) required, either a certification from an American Heart Association (AHA) BLS for Healthcare Providers (or AHA recognized equivalent) or an American Red Cross CPR/AED for Professional Rescuer and Healthcare Provider. Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) preferred.

Required License Certification and Registration: Must be registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT). Licensure from the South Carolina Radiation Quality Standards Association is required. Current American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or American Red Cross BLS for Healthcare Providers certification is required

Education: Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program. Work Experience: 0-2 years of modality specific experience required. Current registration from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT). ARRT registration in interventional radiology required within 1 year in position. Licensure from the South Carolina Radiation Quality Standards Association is required. Current Basic Life Support (BLS) required, either a certification from an American Heart Association (AHA) BLS for Healthcare Providers (or AHA recognized equivalent). Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) preferred.
