Job summary

The Medical University Hospital Authority (MUHA) is seeking a Radiologic Technologist with CT experience to perform CT and radiology studies, obtain patient histories, and explain procedures. Must be ARRT-registered and SCRQSA-licensed, with a minimum of two years multi-modality experience and current BLS certification.

Job Description

Performs CT, and radiology studies of designated anatomical areas, obtains patients histories, explains routine procedures, and addresses patient concerns.

Must have satisfactorily completed an AMA approved school of radiological technology and be registered by the American Registry of Radiological Technologists and licensed by SC Radiation Quality Standards Association. One year of experience as a registered Radiological Technologist and CT. Certification is required in modality area post radiology certification.

Additional Job Description

Education: Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.

Experience: At least 2 years of multi-modality experience.

Credentials: Must be registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT), ARRT Advanced Modality Registration, and licensed by the South Carolina Radiation Quality Standards Association (SCRQSA). Current American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or American Red Cross BLS for Healthcare Providers certification is required. Skill Sets: Fully competent in advanced modality skill sets and flexible to rotate.
