Job summary

MUSC Health seeks a Radiologic Technologist to perform CT and radiology studies, review patient history, and explain procedures. The role requires ARRT registration, SC SCRQSA licensure, and BLS certification. Two years of multi-modality experience is preferred, with ability to rotate shifts.

Must graduate from an AMA-approved radiologic technology program and be eligible for hospital privileges. On-site work in Orangeburg, SC with hourly pay.

Job Description

Performs CT, and radiology studies of designated anatomical areas, obtains patients histories, explains routine procedures, and addresses patient concerns.

Must have satisfactorily completed an AMA approved school of radiological technology and be registered by the American Registry of Radiological Technologists and licensed by SC Radiation Quality Standards Association. One year of experience as a registered Radiological Technologist and CT. Certification is required in modality area post radiology certification.

At least 2 years of multi-modality experience.

Credentials

Must be registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT), ARRT Advanced Modality Registration, and licensed by the South Carolina Radiation Quality Standards Association (SCRQSA). Current American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or American Red Cross BLS for Healthcare Providers certification is required. Skill Sets: Fully competent in advanced modality skill sets and flexible to rotate.
