Job Description

We are hiring a Police Officer to serve and safeguard clients in the Raleigh, NC area. The Allied Universal Company Police Force is a reputable private police contracting agency. Candidates must meet state training requirements mandated by the North Carolina Justice Academy and possess the skills and drive to build a lasting law enforcement career. We offer multiple contracts across the state, providing job security and diverse policing experiences. As a Sworn Police Officer, your responsibilities include serving clients, maintaining safety, and enforcing laws.

Position Details

• Type: Part Time
• Pay Rate: $31.93 / Hour
• Schedule: Sat 11:30 AM - 06:30 PM, Sun 09:00 AM - 06:30 PM

Responsibilities

• Provide police services, safety procedures, and emergency response
• Respond calmly to incidents and critical situations
• Conduct patrols around schools and perimeter areas

Minimum Requirements

• At least 21 years old with a high school diploma or equivalent
• Possess or be able to obtain a valid state driver’s license and be a US citizen
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills
• Certified (sworn) as a police officer, BLET Certificate, or state Law Enforcement Certification
• Out-of-state candidates must have completed an accredited BLET course and have two years of full-time sworn law enforcement experience; an abbreviated BLET course may be required within a year of employment
• Military police experience with honorable discharge may qualify
• Pass a background check, drug screen, and SBI polygraph if in probationary status
• Display excellent customer service and communication skills
• Intermediate computer skills
• Ability to handle crisis situations using authorized de-escalation tactics
• Perform law enforcement duties including patrolling, issuing citations, investigations, and arrests
• Attend training, maintain proficiency in firearms use
• Work in various environments and lift up to 40 pounds occasionally
