Job summary

KBR, Inc. is seeking a Special Operations Psychological / Mental Health Technician at Camp Lejeune / Sneads Ferry, NC. The role supports outpatient behavioral health activities under licensed professionals, including intake, therapy sessions, and data reporting, with relocation assistance available.

The position requires US citizenship, ability to obtain clearance, and a background in psychiatric technology with a focus on crisis management. BCLS certification is expected.

Qualifications

• Must be a US citizen.
• Secret or Top Secret clearance, or ability to obtain clearance.
• EEG tech experience desired.
• Military experience desired.
• At least 3 years’ experience as a psychiatric technician.
• Training in crisis management and de-escalation.
• Basic Life Support (BCLS) certification current.

Responsibilities

• Provide behavioral health interventions under supervision.
• Conduct intake interviews and assist with care of psychiatric and substance abuse patients.
• Lead individual or group therapy sessions under supervision.
• Observe patients and report behavioral changes to licensed staff.
• Maintain patient data and prepare clinical reports and statistics.
• Prepare and maintain attendance rosters and training records.
• Coordinate scheduling and documentation for case reviews and meetings.
• Assist in program operations and identify inefficiencies for action.
