Job summary

ACLC, LLC is seeking an experienced Medical Instructor to join the SOCMID team. SOCMID prepares Air Force Special Operations medics for USSOCOM, and instructors provide comprehensive didactic and hands-on medical education and sustainment training for PJs and SO-IDMTs in demanding environments.

Responsibilities include designing learning objectives, creating Canvas-based content, delivering lectures and field training, evaluating learners, and mentoring new instructors.

Qualifications

• 1 year in the field with a combat deployment.
• Certification prerequisites include EMT-P, BLS-I, ACLS-I, PALS-I, TCCC; SO-ATP on onboarding.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the design of learning objectives and assessment instruments.
• Assist in the creation and design of course content using Canvas.
• Conduct small and large group instruction in didactic lecture, field training exercises, and trauma lanes.
• Conduct and document formative evaluation during each phase of instruction.
• Assist in the teaching of new and affiliate instructors.
• Prepare students and other instructors to interface with training on new tools (software and hardware).
• Utilize and assist in the use of training simulation to include low-/high-fidelity mannequins and virtual reality devices.
• Assist with the development, update, and validation of external organizations' learning objectives and Critical Task List (CTL) to ensure all pertinent tasks are identified to meet training objectives.
• Assist with the development, update, and validation of Syllabi of Instruction (SOI), including course lesson plans and formative evaluations to achieve required proficiency levels.
